Add an object. Make it a silhouette.

To make anything a silhouette, just go to Image>Adjustments>Hue/Saturation and bring the light all the way down.

DO LATER: Ask 3 questions about Photopea / Photoshop.

I am looking into other Software, and when we will get Photoshop, so again -- Do not start the project!

ESSENTIAL QUESTION: How can we can we create new art from existing resources?

DO NOW: How are you doing on your search?

AIM / ACTIVITY: To continue to find and save your background guide image, 25 Textures and 10 patterns,

Today, find 5 objects you want to add to your texture town project.

Think of how they will fit in the environment.

You might want an animal, a sign, a box, etc.

You will be changing the objects as well -- so challenge yourself.

DAY 1: October 23, 2020

ESSENTIAL QUESTION:  How can we choose textures to represent ideas?

AIM: To start thinking abstractly and visually


 

DO NOW: (On your Work Log) List 3 places you would like to live or visit


DO LATER: (On your Work Log)  After responding to five artworks, reflect on this process in your Work Log.  

Write a paragraph. Which work stood out to you? Why?

Compare 2 of the pieces you wrote about and write about any similarities and differences. Be sure to use the students' names in this portion.

 

AIM / ACTIVITY: Open your document through Google Classroom Assigngments. Write your responses on that document. For each prompt you must be detailed in your responses. Describing a project means telling me everything you see -- what is in the frame, how the objects and backgrounds are arranged, the color scheme and overall feel of the piece. Answer in complete sentences, or you will get points taken off.
